• 11:20 a.m.: An AQUA Ohio representative said people were stealing water from the hydrant on Broad. An officer responded and spoke with a man and advised him of the complaint. The man said that Youngstown people are permitted to take water from the hydrant and he assumed it also was legal in Struthers.
• 12:12 p.m.: A woman said a man with an active warrant was in the 100 block of Morris. Two officers responded but were unable to locate the man.
ASSAULT: At 6:47 p.m., a 33-year-old man from the 100 block of Park said he was assaulted at a bar on Oct. 8 with a beer bottle. He said he did not know the male suspect other than his first name and the part of Youngstown he lived in. The wound required stitches. The assault occurred after the male would not stop staring at one of the reportee’s female friends. The reportee was in the hospital until now and was unable to file a report. He said he was still feeling dizzy from the assault.
• 11:14 p.m.: A 51-year-old man from the first block of Poland said his live-in girlfriend was talking to herself with the TV volume up. Police arrived and mediated the situation.
