THEFT: At 1:45 p.m., a 51-year-old Brookfield woman said her stolen credit card was used at a general store and a gas station on Youngstown-Poland Road. She canceled the card.
• 1:52 p.m.: A citizen said a motorcycle was parked on the curve on Sexton and Dogwood and was creating a traffic hazard. Two officers spoke with a female who said her son just purchased the motorcycle and was on the way to legalize the plates and that he would move it when he arrived.
DRIVING UNDER SUSPENSION: At 2:49 p.m., an officer pulled over a bronze Chrysler for running through a red traffic light at Fifth and Sexton. The driver was found to be under multiple suspensions and was arrested.
DRUG ABUSE: At 4 p.m., an officer saw a white vehicle enter a parking lot in the 200 block of Maplewood and saw a male walk up to the vehicle. The occupants of the vehicle and the male were acting suspiciously and the officer went to investigate. After the driver gave police consent to search the vehicle, two plastic bags of marijuana were found inside. One of the rear passengers was arrested.
POSSESSION OF DRUGS: At 9:24 p.m., an officer saw three vehicles parked side-by-side in a sports complex on State with a group of individuals standing around nearby. When they saw the officer, they ran back to their cars and attempted to escape the area. Additional units were called to assist and the cars were blocked in. A male juvenile informed officers that he threw an empty chewing tobacco can containing marijuana as the vehicles were fleeing. The marijuana was located and all the juveniles were taken to the station, where they admitted smoking the marijuana. The juveniles were released to their parents and guardians.
