STRUTHERS – The Struthers Veterans’ Memorial Committee will observe Veterans Day with services at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, at the memorial site on the corner of Euclid Avenue and Morrison Street.
The main guest speaker will be Brigadier Gen. James J, Muscatell Jr., formerly of Struthers, who is the commander of the 403rd Wing Air Force Reserve Command Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. He is the son of James and Margret Muscatell Sr. of Struthers. Muscatell Sr. is an Air Force retiree.
Forms for purchasing $50 walkway bricks are available at the office of the Struthers Board of Education, 99 Euclid Ave.
Forms will be available before and after the services. Refreshments will be served at the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 3538 post home at157 Lowellville Road.
