Carbones Celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary

STRUTHERS – Mr. and Mrs. Michael Carbone of Struthers celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception held in their honor at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Holiday Inn South in Boardman.

Michelle and George Horodnic of Poland; Carolyn and Dave Rivello of East Rochester, N.Y.; Michael and Karen Carbone of Lewisville, N.C.; and the couple’s grandson, Grayson Carbone, were the hosts.

Mr. Carbone and the former Marilyn Semonza exchanged marriage vows Oct. 22, 1960, at St. Nicholas Church. They are members of Highway Tabernacle.

Mr. Carbone retired in 2001 from Hynes Industries in Youngstown, where he was a machinist. Mrs. Carbone is a homemaker.
