YOUNGSTOWN – “Nunsense” will run Thursday through Sunday, Nov. 11 to 14 and Nov. 18 to 21 at the Fairview Arts & Outreach Center, 4220 Youngstown-Poland Road. Top Hat is featuring “Dessert Theater” for this production with the cost of dessert included in the admission price.
In light of the current economy, Top Hat also is offering “church days” and allowing religious groups a $3 rebate per ticket on group ticket sales, with the rebate to be used toward any project or programming of that particular group’s choosing.
“Nunsense,” featuring the work of playwright Dan Goggin, opened off-Broadway in 1985. The concept began as a line of greeting cards, developed into a cabaret and became a full-length musical that has been translated into 21 languages. The production became the second-longest running off-Broadway musical in history.
Reservations can be made at brownpapertickets.com or by calling 1-800-838-3006. Church groups only can call 330-881-0980.
