STRUTHERS –In the past year there have been numerous headlines surrounding the topic of bullying. Students, parents, and communities alike are being affected by this problem throughout the world and Struthers is no exception.
For this reason, the staff, students and community of the Struthers City School District have joined forces in an effort to raise awareness on the topic. Students will be educated and inspired to Stand Up to Bullying through a host of activities that have been planned during the week of Nov. 15 to 19.
Struthers Middle School will host a kickoff on Monday, Nov. 15, where special guests will include Mayor Stocker. The community is asked to get involved by wearing or displaying pink outside your business on Friday, Nov. 19.
