STRUTHERS – (May 8, 2011) Ruth Ann Raseta was recognized as the Mother’s Day honoree on Sunday, May 8, by the Outreach Ministry of Struthers Presbyterian Church.
Raseta is the daughter of Russ and Ruth Beatty of Poland and is the mother of Cassie Dragus, Tom Dragus, Raeanne Raseta and Olivia Raseta. Raseta is employed at Becker’s Funeral Service in the Pet Division.
She has been involved in many church functions, such as youth activities, rummage sales, church dinners, choir and the Board of Deacons.
Tracy Mason, a member of the Outreach Ministry, presented Raseta with a corsage, gift certificates to Bogey’s and Bed, Bath and Beyond, plus a basket of smaller gifts. She also received a fleece blanket with a butterfly design made by the Blanket Ministry.
Next year, the church will honor another mother from the community who has been a blessing to her family and the lives of others.
