BOARDMAN – On Saturday, Oct. 13, The Walk to End Alzheimers was held in Boardman Park. One Struthers family who chose to participate for the first time this year, named their team “The Alzmighties” and walked on behalf of Cliff Jamieson, a retired teacher and coach from Struthers City Schools.
The team placed first in money raised, with a total of $4,100 for The Alzheimers Association. Marybeth Jamieson coordinated the team and held a social after the walk at her home. The Jamieson family and all the team members would like to thank everyone for their support.
