STRUTHERS – The Struthers Wildcats dropped to 6-4 last weekend on Laddie Fedor Field against a visiting Howland Tigers team who beat them 35-20.
Howland broke away from a 7-7 halftime tie to go on to a 21-14 third quarter, then ended with a 35-20 lead and a win for coach Dick Engle. Several years ago, Engle was a part of Campbell’s coaching staff.
Scoring for Struthers was Tommy Kimbrough with a 25-yard pass from QB Gary Muntean in the second quarter to tie Howland 7-7.
