Parishioners see Christ’s death in mime

A TIME FOR MIME: Parishioners of Christ Our Savior Parish in Struthers acted out the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in mime during services on Wednesday, March 27 – a feat which has become an annual event at St. Nicholas Church. Catholics believe Christ, the son of God, was crucified by the Roman Empire nearly 2,000 years ago and rose from the dead to save humanity from sin.
