Proposed ‘Teddy’s Law’ becomes S.B. 248

STRUTHERS – A bill that would help prevent homeschooling from being used as a catalyst for child abuse was given its official bill number and introduced to the Ohio State Legislature earlier this month.

The legislation, known as “Teddy’s Law,” has taken the form of Senate Bill 248 and is available for viewing on the Ohio State Legislature’s web site, legislature.state.oh.us.

The bill is sponsored by state Sen. Capri Cafaro (D-32) and cosponsored by Sens. Edna Brown (D-11), Nina Turner (D-25) and Joe Shiavoni (D-33).
