Women learn self defense in Lowellville

LOWELLVILLE – A three-hour female self-defense class was held Saturday, Jan. 4, at Lowellville City Hall. The event was free and open to the public for females 12 and older. The class taught women how to defend themselves from attackers using simple defensive moves and the use of easy body mechanics. The Lowellville police department will host another class in the future, and it will be announced at facebook.com/lowellvillepolicedepartment.
