LOWELLVILLE – Five area police departments will attend a mobile training class presented by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy between Jan. 28 and 30 in Lowellville.
OPOTA, which is part of the office of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, responded to a request by Lowellville Police Chief Ryan Bonacci to bring their Portable Training Facilities to Lowellville for use by area law enforcement officers.
This is only the third time that the Mobile Academy program has been offered to the eastern part of the state, Bonacci said.
