Village to upgrade sidewalks, school routes

LOWELLVILLE – The village of Lowellville intends to undertake a project to improve pedestrian access to the Lowellville school complex.

The project, funded through the Safe Routes to Schools Program, will affect Wood Street, Youngstown-Lowellville Road, Ralph Conti Drive and Walnut Street.

On Wood Street, existing sidewalks will be removed and replaced on the north side of the road from the driveway of the senior citizen housing complex to the intersection of Youngstown-Lowellville Road.
