• 5:17 a.m.: A male from the first block of Sexton required an escort while he checked if his rental property was vacant in the 300 block of Overlook. An officer stood by until no longer needed.
• 9 a.m.: A female from New Castle, Pa., turned herself in.
11:49 a.m.: A woman from the 300 block of Maplewood Avenue said an altercation had occurred between her and her daughter. Three officers responded.
• 12:15 p.m.: A male said his neighbor was pushing snow onto the roadway in the first block of Spring Street.
• 12:44 p.m.: A woman said she was involved in a single-car accident in the 100 block of Helena Drive. An officer responded, and a female at the scene was arrested.
• 1:40 p.m.: A male from the 600 block of Edison Street said there were fraudulent charges on his bank account.
• 2:53 p.m.: A woman said another female was harassing her via social media.
• 6:44 p.m.: A caller said there was a shoplifter inside a store in the 500 block of Youngstown-Poland Road. Three officers responded and searched the area for the suspect’s vehicle with negative results.
• 7:40 p.m.: A male turned himself in on an active warrant.
• 8:56 p.m.: A male said there was a man inside a store in the 500 block of Youngstown Poland Road threatening the store’s manager. Officers responded and mediated the situation.
• 10:20 p.m.: A woman said a dark-colored vehicle pulled in her front yard and parked in the first block of Grimm Heights. Officers responded and the vehicle was removed from the yard.
• 11:51 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Spring Street regarding an all-terrain vehicle being ridden in the area. The rider was located and was advised to not ride it.
JANUARY 4
• 12:32 a.m.: A woman from the 100 block of Marion requested an officer stand by while she retrieved her children. Officers stood by until no longer needed.
• 9:01 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Youngstown-Poland Road regarding an alarm. The owner of the business was on site.
• 10:08 a.m.: A woman requested a police escort while she retrieved property from the 100 block of Sexton Street. Officers stood by until no longer needed.
• 12:21 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Lincoln Street regarding an active alarm. The homeowner was at the site, and the alarm was set off by mistake.
• 1:37 p.m.: An alarm company said there was an active alarm in the 2900 block of Lincoln Street. An officer responded and the key holder was at the site. All was in good order.
• 2:54 p.m.: A caller said a fight with weapons was taking place in the first block of John Street. Officers responded and mediated the situation.
• 3:52 p.m.: A caller said there was an auto accident at Fifth Street and Route 616.
• 4:31 p.m.: A caller said there was screaming coming from a home in the 400 block of 10th Street. Officers responded and advised that a verbal argument had taken place.
• 7:19 p.m.: New Middletown police said they had a female with an active warrant out of Struthers. An officer responded and took custody.
• 10 p.m.: An officer responded to the first block of State Street regarding a male urinating on the side of a building. The male was not urinating when police arrived. He was advised to go home.
JANUARY 5
• 7:37 a.m.: Paramedics requested a police escort in the first block of West Lewis while they treated a patient. Officers stood by.
• 3:04 p.m.: A woman said her neighbor was smoking marijuana in the first block of Crescent Street.
• 4:27 p.m.: A caller said there was a verbal fight in the first block of Reed Street. Officers responded and mediated the situation.
• 8:46 p.m.: A caller said there were juveniles walking on Broad Street toward Lowellville while smoking marijuana. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles.
• 9:28 p.m.: A woman from the first block of Reed Street said someone was using her checking account number.
JANUARY 6
• 12:28 a.m.: An officer investigated three suspicious people at Midlothian Boulevard and Fifth Street. All was in good order.
• 3:06 a.m.: Officers investigated an active alarm in the 100 block of South Bridge Street. The business was secure from the ground level.
• 11:33 a.m.: A caller said she needed to file a report for a gas drive-off that happened the previous day.
• 12:21 p.m.: An officer said there were dogs without a shelter in the 300 block of Overlook.
• 12:33 p.m.: A caller said there was a shoplifter at a business in the 500 block of Youngstown-Poland Road.
• 2:18 p.m.: A woman said her grandson departed her home on Christmas day and refused to return.
• 2:47 p.m.: A caller requested a welfare check on a residence in the 400 block of Creed Street. Officers responded and all was in good order.
• 4:37 p.m.: A woman requested a welfare check on juveniles in the first block of Sexton Street. Two officers responded and all was in good order.
• 5 p.m.: A caller said he needed officers in the first block of Iroquois Street because his wife was trying to fight him.
• 5:14 p.m.: A caller said there were dogs running around in the 200 block of Harvey. An officer responded and was unable to locate the dogs. The dog warden was notified.
• 8:18 p.m.: A caller said there were two dogs at Highland and Oakview with little shelter. The dogs’ owners were advised of the complaint.
• 8:30 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Youngstown-Poland Road regarding an alarm. All was in good order.
JANUARY 7
• 12:16 a.m.: A woman requested that a male be removed from her property in the 300 block of Overlook. Two officers responded and mediated the situation.
• 3:08 p.m.: A male requested an escort while he retrieved property in the first block of Reed Street.
JANUARY 8
• 12:29 a.m.: An officer conducted a traffic stop at Youngstown-Poland Road and Midlothian Boulevard. A male was arrested.
• 10:14 a.m.: A caller said he was walking through Michler Field when a brown dog with a blue collar chased him. He said the dog’s owner resides in the 100 block of North Bridge Street. An officer was unable to locate the animal.
• 11:08 a.m.: A caller said she was receiving threatening phone calls.
• 1:43 p.m.: A woman requested an escort while she retrieved her child in the first block of Crescent Street.
• 3 p.m.: The Boardman Police Department called and said they found a missing juvenile from Struthers.
• 6:15 p.m.: An officer conducted a traffic stop at Midlothian Boulevard and Riley. A male was arrested.
JANUARY 9
• 9:36 a.m.: A caller said there was a person sitting in the parking lot of a business in the 200 block of Rita Drive for over an hour. Officers investigated and learned that the person was doing work on a computer. He was advised to leave the property.
