DISORDERLY CONDUCT/INTOXICATION: At 12:38 a.m., two officers went to the first block of West Faith for a fight in progress and found two individuals at the end of the driveway engaged in a verbal altercation. The female in the male-female argument would not stop screaming vulgarities while the situation was being diffused and was eventually arrested.
• 10:24 a.m.: A caller requested police assistance while he retrieved his child in the 200 block of Oakview. An officer responded and after several phone calls to the juvenile court, the 3-year-old male child was given to the reportee.
• 11:21 a.m.: A caller said a wire was laying across the roadway on Poland Avenue near a funeral home. An officer found two downed wires in the 100 block. Time Warner was advised of the incident.
• 2:37 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a restaurant in the 900 block of Youngstown-Poland Road and took a traffic report for an employee who was struck while riding her bike to work.
• 6:23 p.m.: An employee of a business on Lowellville Road said there was a female refusing to leave the property and she was asking people for a ride to Austintown. An officer spoke to the female and took her to the station so she could try to get a ride.
BURGLARY: At 7:01 p.m., the homeowners of a residence in the 400 block of Fifth said the back door to their duplex was ajar. The rear basement window was shattered and open. The entire residence was ransacked and jewelry, cutlery, bowls, power tools and candle holders were missing.
• 11:02 p.m.: An officer went to the first block of Eve for a dog bite. A 15-year-old cheerleader said she was toilet papering a home in the 3900 block of Fourth when a tan American bulldog exited the front door and bit her. When she ran away, the dog gave chase and bit her again. The girl’s mother only wanted a report on file and said she would attempt to retrieve damages from the dog’s owner for her daughter’s damaged coat.
