STRUTHERS – In celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Trimble of Struthers attended a Mass at St. Nicholas Church, where they received a special blessing.
The ceremony took place Oct. 9 and was followed by a family dinner at Nicolinni’s Ristorante II in Boardman.
Hosts for the celebration were their children, Katherine Trimble of Struthers, Linda and Michael Eperjesi of Poland and Frank Trimble of Wilmington, N.C. The couple also have a granddaughter, Melissa Eperjesi.
Mr. Trimble and the former Marian Rossi were married Oct. 7, 1950, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosar Church in Lowellville. The couple are members of St. Nicholas Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Mr. Trimble was a plant operator and lab technician for 21 years with Mahoning County Sanitary Engineering Department in Boardman prior to retiring in 1992. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Mrs. Trimble was employed for 17 years at Dollar General in Struthers and retired in 1996 as assistant manager.
