Haren Graduates from University of Akron

AKRON – Gregory Adam Haren graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.96 grade point average.

While at the University of Akron, he was a member of the Honors College. He was a representative of the Emerging Leaders and was on the Resident Housing Programming Board. Gregoy was president of IEEE and Tau Beta Phi. He took part in the Robo Games competition and his senior design team won first place in the national competition for their BassBot project.

Gregory will be married to Lauren Vernice in August 2013 in Long Island, N.Y. Gregory will be working for the government as an electrical engineer. He is the son of Greg and Gina Haren of Lowellville. His grandparents are Celia Conti and Gloria Haren and the late Ralph Conti and Tom Haren.
