YOUNGSTOWN – The Dana School of Music will present a concert by Jazz Ensemble 1, directed by Dr. Dave Morgan, at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, in Kilcawley Center’s Chestnut Room. The event is free and open to the public.
The concert will feature both traditional and contemporary jazz styles, and feature the U.S. premiere of “Suite for Jazz Ensemble and Voice” by YSU assistant professor Dr. Paul Louth, featuring vocalist Katelyn DeLadurantey. The program will also include music by Morgan, Duke Ellington and Charles Mingus.
