Bowlers take second place at state

STRUTHERS – On Saturday, March 1, Struthers senior bowler Kesia Hilbon competed in the Division II Girls’ State Finals at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl in Columbus. Kesia was the first individual qualifier from Struthers to earn a spot at a state competition. She was up against 102 other high school student athletes competing for the state title. She rolled a 182, 198 and 128 landing her in 35th place overall.

The Wildcat boys’ varsity brought home the second place trophy from their State Finals. There were 16 teams and a total of 99 bowlers that competed in the Division II Boys’ State Finals at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl Friday, Feb. 28.
